Sebastian Morgner, Managing Partner
Sebastian Morgner is an expert on the subject of leadership and strategy design. He is fascinated by how to bring objectives and strategies to life in ways that motivate people to act. After his university degree in Mannheim/Germany and Budapest he started in management consulting. Later on he established the online business of an investment company, and was responsible for the business development and marketing policy of the German HypoVereinsbank. Consequently he was a member of the Executive Board for sales management in private banking and was then the Global Head of Marketing at the high street bank UniCredit in Milan/Italy. Sebastian Morgner has led numerous strategic projects to success and has wide experience in international management. Moreover, he is a certified training coach, mental trainer and a keynote speaker.
Robert Wreschniok, Managing Partner
Robert Wreschniok conducts research and offers in-depth expertise in the areas of strategy activation and agile leadership. He supports for more then 18 years leading international companies and ‘hidden champions’ amongst SMEs in developing, communicating and activating their corporate strategy. He also chairs the Cluster for Innovation and Digital Transformation (CIDT).
In recent years he has specialized in matters relating to the visualization of strategy and strategy design. He has been a member of the Design Strategy Board (Basel) since 2015, and is the contact person for TATIN Design Enterprises in Germany. As a co-founder of the Future of Leadership Initiative (FLI), he established already in 2013 one of today’s foremost networks which unites different industries and generations with the common goal of embracing the challenges and opportunities posed by digital transformation
Robert is a frequent lecturer at conferences and author of numerous articles and books on strategy and transformation, including "Der ganz normale Change Wahnsinn", "Reputation Capital: Building and Maintaining Trust in the 21st Century” and “Change 2.0: Beyond Organisational Transformation".
Consulting: Lisa Kirberg
Lisa Kirberg studied International Relations and Management at the University of Regensburg and Buenos Aires and was most recently in Canada at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities ( FCM) in Ottawa. There, she worked as a project manager for the activation strategy in transnational change projects . She is an expert for communication and cooperation processes . Through her many years of international experience and her postgraduate studies intercultural action skills she knows how to respond to the individual problems in intercultural work context. Their strength are creative solutions and absolutely reliable work.
Oliver Mayer, Director MLI Basel
Oliver leads MLI's activities in Basel. He's graphic designer with a focus on strategic visualization and communication.
Oliver is a founding partner of Tatin Scoping Complexity and owner of Tatin Design Enterprise. His experience includes 7 years as Head of Visual Design and Art Direction at various international agencies. Oliver Mayer attended the Universities of Applied Sciences in Zürich, Luzern and Basel, and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. Thereafter, he carried out research at AGFA America surrounding the themes Digital Research and Visual Culture. Oliver Mayer has lectured in Visual Communication at several schools and has won numerous contests and design awards.
Consulting: Ursula Leibl
Ursula Leibl engaged for many years professionally with effective leadership, especially with the process of building trust between managers and employees. She studied Marketing and Sales in Vienna, as well as International Business and Export Management in Krems and in the US. Most recently, she worked at an international FMCG companies in brand management department. Due to her insight into different industries and her experience in marketing, she is an expert in target group analysis and individual solutions.
Gerd Hofer, Partner MLI Austria (Innsbruck)
Gerd Hofer inspires and supports companies during transformation processes as restructuring manager, strategy expert and lateral thinker in the field of leadership. He is passionate about the question how companies can unfold and use their whole potential in a meaningful way.
Until the end of 2015 he was responsible for the restructuring of companies at Tyrol Equity AG as an investment manager and managed the program office of different investment companies. Industrial enterprises have successfully been aligned and positioned strategically. In addition, their profitability has been increased. Before that, he managed strategical projects and optimization programs in the field of business development and process management in an Austrian bank. He is also a graduated mental trainer and docent at an Austrian management school. He is part of the Advisory Board of industrial enterprises and a passionate speaker.
Consulting: Nuria Behringer
After working in the management coaching department of a large automotive company and in a business consultancy for personnel and organizational development, Nuria Behringer is now working in strategy activation and consulting projects in an international context for the MLI.In her International Management studies in German, English and Spanish in the US and Germany, she focused on leadership culture in globally operating companies. In Africa, the US and South America, she has acquired extensive intercultural skills in various projects with international teams and uses them successfully in transformation and team-building processes.
Mark Thompson, Director MLI London
Mark leads MLI's activities in London. With more than 25 years experience in communication and engagement, he helps organisations to bring their business strategies to life by aligning leadership teams and people around a clear sense of purpose. He has particular experience of high profile multi-stakeholder programmes in Europe. Mark brings an evidence-based approach, enabling leaders to isolate the critical issues in winning support for change and to engage people with conviction - internally and externally.
Mark is a former managing director in strategic communications at global consulting firm FTI Consulting. He has authored reports including A Question of Leadership: employee engagement in the downturn.
Consulting: Saltanat Bissimbina
Saltanat is an expert in activating strategies and executing organizational transformations through the use of data and digital products. She is passionate about developing engaging technology solution to help organizations achieve faster their startegic goals, apply data-driven findings in their decision making, and activate all layers of organizations. Prior to consulting, she worked in innovation and development area of a corporate company builder of a leading global insurance group where she learned how to build and develop companies and products the “lean” way while being focused on the goal of creating value for both the business and its customers.
Holding a Masters in Psychology from LMU Munich, she is a analytical thinker with particular strengths in leadership, communications, relationship building, and strategic planning. She develops relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders and easily bridges cultural differences to ensure successful management of projects and achievement of business goals.
Gerhard Hastreiter, Senior Advisor
Gerhard is a passionate writer and speaker. He published a number of articles related to agile and digital transformation and was editor of a book about in-house consulting. Currently he is working on how organisations can remove the impediments that stem from the pre-digital era in order to truly unleash the potential that „Digital“ provides.
Consulting: Verena Brinkmann
Verena Brinkman is a 10+ year communication expert who brings different target groups into action by relevant and effective measures. As a communication consultant she is familiar with a large number of different industries both on national and international level such as pharma, consumer goods and finance. Communication measures off- and online as well as engaging workshop formats such as simulations and process trainings preparing for communicative crises belong to her portfolio. Moreover, Verena has designed and accompanied large leadership and workforce development programs with regards to strategic company objectives.

Julia Friedl is an expert for strategy activation and communication processes in highly dynamic environments. Her main focus lies on impactful development, leadership and team activation. Due to her longstanding experience at the Swiss market leader in telecommunications, she is familiar with the strategic challenges and basic conditions for digital transformation of large enterprises. As a communication strategist, she was responsible for the transformative development of her department by introducing a new role-based process organisation with focus on agile leadership, skill development, team dynamics and effective collaboration.
After her B.A. in information design in Stuttgart and Puebla (Mexico), Julia accomplished and M.Sc. in Corporate Communication at the Università della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano (Switzerland). She holds a certificate in Change Leadership & Organizational development at the Institute for Communication & Leadership Lucerne. Julia is a trained Human Centered Facilitator and conducts ideation processes about sustainable and impactful actions. To her, humans always are at the centre.
Consulting: Svenja Arens
Svenja Arens is looking forward to actively shape topics in the fields of transformation- and change management, strategy development and strategy activation together with companies. She loves to engage with innovative and agile methods to drive companies forward and take them to the next level of their individual potential.
In her previous roles in strategy departments of the well-known companies E.ON SE and Vodafone, Svenja Arens actively contributed to the development of company strategies within their transformation processes and especially dealt with translating company strategies into focused company programmes, strategic action fields and concrete measures for implementation. She was responsible for activating the strategies among employees cross-regionally and across countries, which proved to be the key lever for success – winning all employees on all hierarchical levels and across all functions for the strategy and its implementation. As a certified SCRUM Master and Product Owner, she was able to gain well-grounded experience in the fields of agile programme and project management. Within her first role as a management consultant, she was responsible for projects in the fields of digital transformation.
Svenja Arens successfully completed her studies abroad, first at University of the Pacific in California, where she gained a full scholarship as a NCAA College Athlete in Tennis, and afterwards at University Maastricht, where she finished her Msc. International Business focused on the topics of Strategy and Innovation.
Performance and Leadership Coach: Dorothea Anzinger
Dorothea Anzinger is an expert for interactive leadership trainings. As a Mental Performance Coach, she works with approaches from NLP and energetic language training and uses here her many-faceted experiences in teamwork and personality development. In her work, she focuses on the individuality of her participants and ensures that everyone involved feels empowered to contribute with their abilities to the big picture. In doing so, she manages to ensure a sustainable mind shift of her participants during strategy activation. Her customers are companies which have realized that their employees are their most important asset.
Global Research: Dr. Steven Chase Gummer
Dr. S. Chase Gummer has broad experience in both corporate and public contexts. As a journalist he covered technology and economics for the Wall Street Journal and worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the German Brandenburgischen Institut für Gesellschaft und Sicherheit (Brandenburg Institute for Society and Security), where he led research projects on cybersecurity and protecting critical infrastructures. From 2009 to 2010 he taught at Georgetown University School of Foreign Service Qatar Campus in Doha, Quatar. Previous activities include working at the Global Affairs and Public Policy office of Daimler Chrysler AG in Washington, DC and for Bayer Healthcare, where integrated a new advocacy function into a global team. Chase has an MA and Ph.D. degree from Georgetown University and currently works at Hy! an Axel Springer company focused on digital transformation.

Nina Zitouni is a specialist in clear profiling and successful change processes. With confidence, compassion, verve and competence she defines relevant items vital to success and implements effective solutions with sensitivity and resolution. Since 2006 the media scholar has been working as a coach and consultant. In her earlier positions Nina Zitouni gained expansive experience in how goals are taught effectively, achieved and communicated: as a management advisor in a high street bank, head of internal communication and as a project manager at an international event agency. She passed her holistic education as a certified psychological coach at Hephaistos Coaching-Zentrum in Munich, recognized by the German coaching organization DBV.
Consulting: Anja C. Gerstenberg
Anja C. Gerstenberg is an expert in systematic team analysis, personality and leadership development. Combined with a high perception of competence and esteem she accompanies people and teams to find a clear and self-conscious standpoint and code of conduct. She combines a structured approach with her creative mind as a freelance artist. In her former professional career, Anja C. Gerstenberg gained experience and expertise as Head of Corporate Communications, in the Human Resources Development for senior executives and as a management auditor.
Marketing, Event Management and Public Relations: Celia Morgner
Celia Morgner caters for a perfect setting at all MLI events and maintains good relations to the press. After her studies in romance philology and economics she gained experience herself in editorial working at a marketing and media trade magazine Der Kontakter. Thereafter, she was active as a PR Manager in today’s Constantin Medien AG. She knows how to facilitate economic contents in an informative and effective way.
